mateco reaches the jury stage for the Grand Prix of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises

At the beginning of the year, we were delighted to learn that we were one of a total of 4.600 companies to be nominated for the "Grand Prix of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" again this year. By reaching the jury stage, we have now also been able to fulfil the award criteria with the application documents we submitted and are therefore one of the 451 nominees who have overcome a further hurdle in the competition. In the next and final step, 14 jury members will now decide on the finalists and award winners, who will be announced at a festive awards ceremony in Würzburg in September. 

The "Grand Prix of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises" is a nationwide initiative that honours medium-sized companies for their outstanding achievements every year. The motto of this year´s 30th competition is "WITH INSURANCE TOWARDS THE FUTURE" and companies are assessed holistically according to the following criteria: Overall development of the company, creation and safeguarding of jobs and apprenticeships, innovation and modernisation, commitment to the region as well as service and customer proximity (marketing). 

We are proud to have made it this far in the competition and greatly appreciate the associated recognition and confirmation of our achievements. We are now looking forward to the further jury assesment and are looking forward to the award ceremony in autumn with joy and confidence.
